Ok so my goal is to get somewhat caught up before this New baby comes...TOMORROW!!! Yikes thats crazy to think that tomorrow we will have 4 KIDS. AWWWW! so I thought I'd just kind of go month by month and post things that happened. ( if I can remember them between all the puking)

So many fun things happened in September!! Back to school and a super fun trip with grandma and grandpa with the curly hair out to Fairmont.

Brynlee struggled last year with school a bit, so we did some testing early on and made the hard but best decision to let her do gr. 1 again. It has definitely been for the best. In october we did a sleep study and found out that she stops breathing over and over all night long and that has been a huge factor in what was happening at school. So in the end of April she had her tonsils and adenoids out (but well get to that).

I have a great Friend who is always inspiring me. And this is something that she has on her blog; It really Hit me!

I read this aweful book over christmas. About Children who are robbed entirely of their childhood. And it made me VERY glad for the wonderful family I grew up in and all the wonderful things that I take for granted EVERY SINGLE DAY!
This book really touched me though. And I've been thinking that there are things that I should be doing to make a difference.
But me????
I'm a little o'l country bumpkin from the patch. What can I do?

Well among all the things I've quietly kind of the thought about doing this year. I know that I want this to be my #1 Resolution.

We Have A Computer! YEA!!

So our hard drive Died on us in November, So we've been going over a month waiting to get our computer fixed. And Fixed It GOT! THANKS Jonathan! Unfortunately we weren't able to get any of our pictures and such off of the old hard drive, but we'll just hold on to it until we can afford to pay all the money to get them back. So for now here is a shot of Addi asleep in the laundry basket where Brynlee put her to sleep.

Ya I am in the literal sense...CRAZY LIFE! I had to write these down before I forget them. I seem to do that alot. I have the worst memory...if only our eyes were video cameras. Haha but really lately it seems like my kids are hilarious! On the weekend we were in Cardston for Heritage days. On Saturday night we were driving to the fireworks. They had started going off, and we were trying to show Addi. We kept encouraging her to "look out the window", "look over there" then all of a sudden we hear..."WOW!" Addi finally caught a glimpse of the fireworks. For the rest of the show she kept saying... Wow...wOW.
Then there is Riley man. He is always crack'n out Crazy thing. We finally took our kids to do a holiday thing [since summers almost over and we haven't done anything yet] So we went to Calaway Park. It was the last ride of the day so we were scurrying to the Log Ride. I ended up dragging him the wrong way [toward the exit instead of the entrance]. When I realized it we turned around, I was encouraging him to Run Faster so we don't miss it. Then in the most Excited Voice he Cracks out with..."Mom I just can't handle this!!!!" He was almost shaking with excitement!
Yesterday I got a call from our friend telling us that one of Rileys good buddies was going to be in the hospital... No big deal just something he has to do. So I told Riley that they wouldn't be able to go for bike rides for a while because he was in the hospital...then the compassionate little thing that Riley is he said " Thats ok Mom, I'm OK with that"
Oh good Buddy I'm glad that YOU'RE OK with that. hahaha Little Punk!

The Bike Riding

Now that they can ride, I can never find them. They hop on their bikes (usually with helmets) and take off. So this has been an interesting learning experience for all of us. Oh the Groundings that they {Riley} recieve. It seems like they just get down with being grounded then they make another bad choice and they are grounded again. SO MUCH FUN!!!

I feel like I should be writing something. But When I read some of my Friends Blogs they are so inspiring and...I'm just not there {yet} So I thought I'd share some fun news... Riley Man Learned to ride his bike!

Well he has been riding for over a month now and is so awesome! Such a Little Dare Devil { but what else should I expect from him}

Brynlee Learned too, but for some reason I don't have any video or pix of her. So that I will have to change. She was a little nervous about the whole riding a two wheeler, but they went and spent a weekend with Grandpa Randy and Grandma Heather. Grandpa Randy Had the Ingenious plan of having Brynlee ride the bike down a grass hill. That way if she fell is would be soft.
After a few tries...Badda Bing Badda Boom...she can ride a TWO WHEELER! YIPPEE
So if we accomplish nothing else this summer thats just fine because we can now go for Family bike rides. FUN FUN FUN!!

The different Faces of Addi

Addison is such a silly little pink fluffy thing. Haha
First there is the 'Mommy Addi'... She Loves babies, {something that Brynlee never really got into}.

It doesn't matter if their real or not, if they're naked or not, if they're bigger than her...or not. SHE LOVES BABIES!

Addi just loves to cuddle them up under her little chin, or pat their back or wrap them and re-wrap them. Oh and drag them around by their arms as she follows Riley onto his next adventure.

Next there is the Silly, Sassy, Smiling Addi....

She went through a faze of being really good at the Tooth Full Smile. Then One day that was it no more "Smiles". As much as we would ask, beg and bribe, No smiles would come. Until just this last week Mike asked and asked and finally Addison cracked out the smile. {notice the one eye almost closed, that's her signature move.}

And now there is a new Addison that has emerged. The Techie Addi...

Mommy uses the computer for lots of things, including doing orders for the store. Well Addison is now one of our in-house experts on the computer.

Not really but I'm sure she wishes. Yesterday I was working on a new order and Addi had to be on my lap. The next thing I know she starts pushing buttons. I kindly asked her to stop. Ya right that happened.
Then as I was writing down the order she grabbed the mouse and started clicking on different things. - that was Really fun - So I tried putting her down, and that didn't go over so good. So now I think I can only use the computer when she is asleep or when Riley's around to distract her.

We laugh at Riley all the time. Just the stuff he pics up and then relates back and at the most odd times. Like randomly the other day he just blurts out "She just likes me for my body!" ~ cars.
Or he really likes watching Retro Cartoons...Bugs Bunny and Tweety show. On there one of the cartoons is of this dog { I can't remember the name} but he shows up at this o'l southern house and offers to be their dog. Well the master already has a dog so he calls him..."O'l BELVIDER...Come HERE BOY!".
The other day I said to Riley " call Addi and take her down stairs"

So How Does He Call Her??

"OH BELVIDER ...... COME HERE BOY!!!" Low and Behold Addi comes toddling as fast as her little legs could carry her. We laughed and laughed. Then it became the game for the next hour or so. Hide and Seek "Oh Belvider... Come here Boy!!"

Tonight we laughed and laughed. Again...
Disney is running a promotion right now with free admittance to any of their parks on your birthday. On the ad are all these balloons flying to all these people to deliver the birthday invitations or whatever.

Riley was playing with his puppy and he had its little paw holding on to this little square pillow, flying through the air. I looked over at him and asked him what he was doing with his puppy??
He smartly answered back...

"Making His Dreams come true!!!"

Jeesh this kid is too much like his Uncle Hussa! Too Smart!

Riley's Party:

For Riley's party we had an Easter egg hunt, with lots of friends and Cousins. Then we played 'Pass the Egg' on the soon and the beloved party Favorite...Red Rover!

Brynlee's Party:

Brynlee is such a Girl, So I attempted to make her a Barbie Doll Cake. With a little encouragement from Soina and a some research online it actually tuned out ok. But I know a few things I'd do different...like use the biggest glass bowl instead of the glass measuring cup to bake the cake in. It just makes for a little nicer looking skirt.
The little girlies made open Face sandwiches (which was one of my favorite things to do for my birthday).
She played Spin-the-bottle to choose which gifts to open, and she got spoiled with lots of fun things!!

So August was a complete blur. We enjoyed swimming lessons and spending time with Jaxon and Maddux Then we went camping with Mikes mom and Jacki for a few days to Waterton. It was super fun except it rained and was cold for most of the time. But thats OK I've never been camping there before. It sounds lame cause I'm sure that the rest of my family probably has, but alas the opportunity has escaped me until now. haha
On the 30th we celebrated Addison's 1st Birthday, then we whisked her away for her first trip across the line to Great Falls. It was fun and she was such a great traveler. We crossed the border at Del Bonita just to save time and hassle. We pulled up and gave the border guy our birth certificates etc. He went in side and when he came back he asked us who Addison was??...We opened the door and he was all excited " Happy Birthday little Addison its your first Birthday today and Mine Too! Well not My First birthday hahaha"
It was so cute how excited he was that they shared a bithday.

We got back Monday night and Tuesday Morning I was Off to a buying show so Daddy Got Brynlee all ready and Off to her First Day Of Grade One!!

Ok so Its been like a life time since I've blogged. My life has been a little hectic to say the least. But Finally life is slowing down YIPPEE!! I did start a blog, but since its not on here you can see how far I got with that. haha

Brynlee loved Kindergarten and is sad thats its done. But she is really looking forward to 1st grade ( at least thats one of us) early mornings...no thanks. oh well what do you do when you live in a shoe.... She has grown and grown and grown this year..her and Riley both.
Its a good thing its the summer so its ok that their pants just keep getting shorter and shorter. Riley go to play soccer in Cardston this spring and loved it. he is quite the little athlete. The coach would put him on...he'd score then he'd sub off. over and over all game. He is the funniest little man. One day he was hanging out around Grandma with the straight hair, and he was trying to make a bow and arrow with a pencil and a rubber band. when he finally got it she heard him say "Shear Genus" Little smartie!

OUr little Addi is quite a little stinker. She now has 4 teeth two up, two down, and she loves to experiment with them. But when she'll give a little nip, I'll get after her and she just laughs right in my face! STINKER! but I try not to focus on that cause then she will live up to be exactly what I tell her she is.
She is also crawling around like a maniac. She wasn't too mobile before the 1st but then her little cousin Brooklyn came to visit. Brooky is very busy and Addi Caught on very quickly and we went from not moving to the army crawl on the 3rd to full crawling now. and she wants to be busy and get into everything she shouldn't. Oh Well I guess they have to grow up some time.

I am so looking forward to a somewhat lazy summer before back to the grind of school and preschool twice a week for Riley.
I will post some pictures of the first as well as Bryns Birthday, and Addi photo shoot with Rebecca .

Tonight we were up at Grandma's with the Curly hair [aka grandma Heathers'] and Brynlee was tell her all about the new strawberry milkshake Oreo cookies that she had talked Auntie Em and Uncle Hussa into buying today. She was telling her how good they are, which they really are, and how grandma need to buy some. Grandma told Bryn that she was sure that they were probably good, but that grandma didn't really care much for Oreos. Brynlee couldn't believe that and piped right up with " Grandma you really need to try more stuff! "
We were laughing so hard.

I am slowly coming into the computer age. I just figured out how to change my blog template. I know so many of you are little smarties and just figured it our yourselves, but I'm a little slower and it takes me while to catch on to these things. Hahaha!!
Our lives have been crazy. I can't wait for our webstore to be finished, up and going. As well as finishing up with the buying season. We already did our buying but now we need to perfect it. Did we order enough?? Are our customers going to like what we chose?? Did we order to much of the wrong thing, even though we liked it?? so many questions. And we have the Welcome Wagon baby show coming up at the end of the month so I need to co-ordinate that. UHHH. It will slow down soon I know. Its just getting from here to there. We just got our new lit sign up on our store not to long ago so I thought I'd post some pix. And on top of all that Sheldon Anderson thought that I needed to be one of the speakers on Sunday. YA RIGHT. Oh well the topic is Jesus Christ. Wherever I want to go with that I can. So I think that there is enough material out there I should be able to pull together something.
My Kids are Great. GROWNING so fast. I don't think that they have ever grown this fast in all of their little lives thus far. They are out growing all of their clothes so its a good thing that their mom owns a clothing store. But the bad news is that Brynlee has almost out grown our clothes at the store. So we maybe going up to bigger sizes.
ADDI LOU!! Already 6months old. She weighs almost 15lbs and is sitting up all by herself now.
The first time she did it Brynlee was sooooo amazed. She kept say " Oh my goodness, look at that! Thats sooooo AMAZING! ADDI Your so amazing" Over and Over.
She is also beginning to work on some teeth. I haven't seen anything come through yet, but her little gums are swollen and red. To match her bottom.
For the last month she has had a major diaper rash. I've tried everything, but nothing was working. So finally I decided to try cloth diapers. An Poof the rash has disappeared. They are actually Bamboo diapers and I love them. Thanks to Kirsty for sharing with me. Its a new brand we now carry in the store, Bamboozle diapers by Bummis, and Kirsty had ordered some for Lola. I had told her that when they get here I wanted to check them out for Addi. And after I showed her Addi's bum. She split her order of diapers with me, so I could use them for Addi until mine get her. SO a big THANK YOU to Kisty!!! On monday I was working and decided to just put the pampers back on Addi at the store. Within an hour the rash was back. I think its more like a burn. Anyway it was awful, but My SWEET SWEET little Addi never made a fuss about it.

I'm just hanging out with Addi listening to Angie jam on her Guitar!! Love it Angie, now that I found out where all your great tunes went. Keep them coming.
Mom and dad are off to Cali. to pick up dads truck cab. It is such a different feeling to have a house to myself. Even though its not really mine - Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us crash here. There aren't any words to express how greatful I am. And don't rush home cause I don't work Sat. So thats clean the house day! "So we all can be ready for Sunday"
And I thought that I'd add what Bryn said in her bed-night prayers tonight - "and please bless the straight-haired grandma to have a good sleep." ya cause Bryns is going to be climbing into the Curly-haired grandmas bed when she has a bad dream. haha
And as Riley was saying his prayers he kept saying that he didn't need any help, then all of a sudden he stops and says "what do I say next" I think Heavenly father really gets a chuckle out of the sweet simple prayers of our little babies!! Addi doesn't laugh very often so when we caught this on camera I thought I'd share.

We are all doing great up here in the far North! Hahaha even though the temp today was -34 but ya know it feels like -39 with the wind chill. B-U-R-R-R-R-R!! to say the least.
Our little Addi is just getting so big. Addi's just over 13 lbs now and I think she's in the middle of growth spurt. All she does lately is eat and sleep, which I guess is OK, but she is growing up to fast. In fact on saturday Grandma with the straight hair was practicing rolling over with her, and she loved doing it. Than later on that afternoon I laid her down on her back so I could fold laundry and when I looked back to check on her, she had just finished rolling over by herself for the FIRST TIME. CRAZY!!! She is by far my healthiest baby, which is good and bad. Its good cause I don't have to worry about her lack of growth and falling of the growth chart, but its bad cause everything has seemed to go to fast.

Then there is my little Bryn Bryn.
I love her so much and I find with all the other crazy things going on in my life she kind of takes a side seat. She is honestly the best big sister I could have ever wanted her to be. And the Very best Tidy-upper (when she wants to be). When she gets it in her head that she is going to clean up, everything gets put in its spot and she wont stop until its done. I am so thankful that she is finally growing, even though she is built like a Quinton - Skinny Minny-, And she is healthy. We don't have to worry about her having seizures every time she has a fever, or anything crazy. Bryns is so smart. About every scrap paper that you can find around the house has her name all over it. She wanted to paint the other day and this is what she panted:

This is her and Riley. The Best of Buddies! Thats on a good day, but like most sibling relationships they're the best of friends on moment then the worst of enemies the next. Oh well what to do you. Just break up the fights when they occur (which is more often than not) and then PRAISE them to no end when they are getting along and loving each other. Then you go to bed and start all over again - way to early the next morning. :0)

My life in a nut shell - Help I'm in a nut shell

So I keep wanting to write in my journal. (which is still packed way with the rest of my life) and I keep thinking 'oh ya I'll remember that and so I can write it down later. haha ya right. So I decided the other day that I was just going to use my blog as my journal for the time being. So don't mind me if I tend to go off a little and if most things aren't spelled right Hahahaha.
My life in a nut shell is a GONG SHOW!!!! Its seems like I keep waiting for it to slow down, but it just passes me by while I'm waiting.
Our baby girl is now 4 months old, and so big. I just took her for her shots and she weighed 12lbs 6.4 oz, and 241/2" long. BIG! Her look has totally changed and she looks like a me (Amelia) version of Brynlee. She reaches for everything, smiles at everyone and is the hardest little thing to get to laugh. Trust me We've Tried. If only we had a video of us trying to get her to laugh, people would think we should be in the loonie bin. She loves to babble and be very expressive. Sometimes I think that she is actually carrying on a conversation with me, just I can't understand what she is saying.
Christmas was GREAT. It came and went just as fast as the rest of my life. we had so much fun of Christmas Eve, well actually let me back up. The evening of Christmas Eve was a blast, but how we got there was a different story. We went up to Cardston on Saturday, the 22nd, and had a fun evening watching a move (Stardust - funny show you should all check it out) with Jacki and Jason. Thanks Guys!
Sunday was nice and uneventful (thank heavens) Cause Monday made up for all of that.
Monday morning Mike and Jason went Ice fishing which was fine and dandy. Heather and I got ready and went into town to do a little last minute shopping, then headed back home. Just after we got home (I mean I hadn't even got Addi out of her carseat yet) Riley ran down stairs to see what Auntie Jodi and Uncle Mike we up to. Mike was in the bedroom with little Elania tiding up. Riley wanted to show Elania how he could climb into the crib thats in that room. " See Elania I couldn't do this when I was a baby but now I'm a big boy" Yes and being the big boy that he is he jumped out of the crib with all intentions to climb right back in. only the jump didn't go so well. Mike brought Riley up stairs just bawling. I don't know if he's ever cried like that so I knew that something was wrong. Usually I can just give him a little loves and hug and a kiss and he's all better, but not even mommy's love could fix this. So i decided to take him into the ER to have his arm checked out. And yep sure enough it was broken. Mike wasn't home from fishing yet, so Grandma with the Curly hair came with us to help with Riley and Addi. THANK YOU GRANDMA! Mike ended up getting to the hospital just as Riley finished up with his x-rays. It was nice to have daddy there while Riley got his cast on. He was a big boy (cause daddy was there to help him be big)while Dr. Playfair put on his cast.
So this little boy got to enjoy christmas this year with a new friend - Mr. Cast. Merry Christmas to Riley. And he is very selective about who he lets sign his cast. You usually have to bribe him with something - eh Auntie Em?!?
Other than that Christmas was wonderful spent with family and eating yummy food.

I'm so Glad that 2007 is over! This year has to be better the last year. Definately Addi and watching my funny little kids grow were the best part of 2007. I think that
I could have probably done away with most of the rest. I wish all the best for myself... Oh and everyone else in 2008.

Hair Cuts!!!

A few weeks ago Brynlee said to me that she wanted to cut her hair (YES!!!) so we didn't have to deal with big tangles anymore. Hallelujah!!!! Oh how life is so much nicer with Bryn having short hair; Thank You Becky! Addi had the wicked baby mullet so we trimmed that too.
Its just like Riley - getting her first hair cut @ 6 weeks; crazy.

In the summer Amber and I took a picture together of our fun tummies. They we able to come up this last weekend and we were able to complete the picture. Brooklyn and Addi are 11 days apart and are such fun little girls.
Thanks Brenty and Amber for making the long trek up to Canada, it was great to get to spend time with you!!

Addi's Blessing

We had Addi's blessing on the 4 of Nov and we're so blessed to have many of our family members there that might not normally have been there. So thank you to all who made the trip (more to see grandpa, but it kind of just worked out) and I'm sorry to everyone else that I never gave the heads up too. Please know that I meant too, it was just one of those weeks, so please accept my apologie. And it seemed to be a Quinton day at church.

Mom gave the opening prayer in sacrament meeting. Then during ward business they read out our memberships and we had to stand. Mike then gave Addi a beautiful blessing. It was fast sunday so mom, Bryce and I got up and took the opportunity to bare our testimonies; then finally I gave the closing prayer. I think that everyone in the ward was a little sick of us by the end. Hahaha.
After church we came back to mom and dads and had a yummy dinner, thanks to mom , Auntie shelly, and Aunt Betty Lou for all your help getting everything ready!

Addi wore My blessing dress that is made out of my moms wedding dress material. Mom had made it for Hussa,(but then had Hussa and of coarse he didn't wear it) :0)
Brynlee also wore this dress when we were sealed in the temple. So to say the lest this dress has a lot of love that comes with it.
I Love the picture of Hussa holding Addi, her in the dress that was made for him, and of coarse being named after him. I'm a little sentimental but what do ya do. hahaha

Its Halloween, the lamp is lit...

Halloween was tons of fun. Brynlee had wanted to be a ballerina, but after Eathens birthday party on tues. night she changed her mind and we had to find the costume for Roe - Barbie the Island princess. It was already 9 o'clock and we just needed to get home. So I ran in to Super Store and found the last Island Princess costume that they had. The things we do for our children to keep them happy.
And thank you to Chloe Boire who gave us a fireman costume. So Riley got to be that whither he wanted to or not. Fortunately he was happy to be that, so he and Zack both got to be Fireman. And Addi was a cozy little teddy bear. SO CUTE!
We all met at Grandma with the straight hair's house before venturing over to Grandma and grandpa Anderson's to pick up Jared. Then it was off to a few different streets to get some CANDY! We had to make sure to stop at The Parkers to get a fresh homemade cinnamon bun. Yum!! Addi did what all new babies do for Halloween, Sleep. Which was ok. I just zipped her in my jacket and off we trucked. It was such a nice night I couldn't believe it.
My kids had so much fun. Riley has had us all singing the halloween songs for the past week:

Brynlee couldn't wait to go again:

So Finally I update my blog. I can't believe that Addis 7 weeks old tomorrow. Gees were has the time gone?? So we went to our 6 (well 7 week) check-ups, and yes we are as healthy as a horse, well maybe a little Piglet. Addi weighed in at 9lbs 2oz and is almost 21" long. Oh and she has been smiling at us for, oh 3 weeks already. CRAZY!!! But it is so fun.
I think that Addi looks a lot like I did as a baby and I'm so absolutely in love with her. I'm feeling VERY VERY BLESSED!. I've been told that its the Third baby good luck, but I'll just call it a blessing cause Heavenly Father knew that I needed this.
Riley is a holey terror. He just never stops. How come I don't remember that he was like this before. Prego brain I think. But he is so darling and he loves his baby sister. He loves going to " my School " (not Bryns even though they are just down the hall way from each other). Brynlee, what do I say about Bryn. She is quite the little mother and would moll her little sister if I didn't stop her. She is loving Kindergarten and Miss. Jamie Jensen is her teacher. She turns everyday things into a kindergarten lesson (which I love to see it through her eyes). Yesterday I took her and Riley to see Dr. Smith, Riley has an infected toe and Brynlee a wicked cold, in school they have been learning all about different letters and their sounds. So as Dr. Smith was writing out the RX, Brynlee picked out all the letters that she recognized and had to tell the Dr about them. Like that the 'T' makes a 'ta" sound, and that his 'Q' looked like an 'O'. He was so cute to just go along with it and act interested.
But what I love the most is how she can't really write more than just her name, so she will just do squiggly lines and tell me what they mean as she's writing. For example, this morning she wrote a whole story about a princess who turns into a mermaid and then marries the merprince. Ya just her area of expertise.

Our store is now open Hallelujah!!! There were a couple of weeks of little sleep and it wasn't from Addi cause she is such a good baby, unless mommy eats something a little disturbing to the tum tums.
So now I can mostly focus on being a mom; home with my kids which will be nice
and as for Mike, he is as busy as ever. He has been home the last couple of nights which has been AWESOME! My kids have loved it. They are mostly done the jobs they have been working on in Calgary area and have some jobs that are starting up down here. But there are rumors of some other jobs that are away from home so we'll enjoy our time with him while we have it. Once again I feel so blessed that he is so busy with work and we all have our health and are happy just to be together.

Cousin Fun

We had so much fun with our cousins in Waterton. There was a deer right down by the water when we got to Cameron Falls. Then we headed over toward the camp kitchens to have a bite to eat, which was definately not as fun as when we finally ventured down to the water. The kids had so much fun wading through and throwing rocks into the freezing cold water. But the kids didn't mind. At on point Berkeley was sitting right down in the water up to her waist. On the video clip of Riley and Braxton throwing rocks you can hear them shouting "Bigger rock, Biggest Rock" as they would through the biggest rocks they could find into the water to make a loud noisy splash.
After we tore the kids away from the water with the promise of ice cream. We went down to the playground were grandma, grandpa and Jack and Becky found us. We played there, then got to enjoy some ice cream before all falling asleep on the drive home.
What a fun Day. Thanks for all the fun memories guys!!!!

Canada Day

Canada Day was so fun with all our cousins. We had tons of fun watching the parade and picking up candy. Thanks Auntie Mo for remembering the Candy bags. Brynlee, the horse lover that she is, loved watching all the horses.
Then it was off to Staight haired Grandmas for a yummy lunch. We were even lucky enough to have some of our Quinton cousins get to come join in the fun.
We Let the kids stay up the night before to watch the Lethbidge fireworks. So it was kind of touch and go to see if they would make it for grandpa Jims fireworks. They did stay up ( and were a little grummpy the next day) but had a lot of fun pointing out which fireworks were their favorites.
If Its not obvious, Brynlee definately needs a little sister. Poor Riley, He is such a good sport. And thanks to Braxton for sharing all his toys. I don't think Riley left that motor bike alone the whole weekend.

Carmel the calf

If it works this is the video clip from a previous post when we were helping to feed the calves at the Curly Haired grandmas. The calf got a taste of Rileys fingers and liked how they tasted. He basicly had Rileys whole hand is his mouth.

The Joys of summer!

On Friday we went to the spray park. Tons Of Fun!!! We got there about 11 and it was so nice cause we were only the third family at the park. I packed a little pick-nic lunch and a lot of sun screen and water. The only problem was that it was so hot we wanted to run through the water, but the water was so cold that you could only stand to put your toes in it. Bryn braved the cold water for a few pictures, but had to come lay out on her towel to get warm.

And... Brynlee just learned how to ride her bike! She's had her bike for a little while but this one day it just clicked! It's the first time this summer we've pulled it out for her to try, but it had flat tires. So we wheeled it over to Esso and filled them up. As soon as I got the caps back on Bryn hopped on her bike and was off like a bat out of H*@#. We've had to go for bike rides every day since. Ya it gets a little tiring to give her a little push here and Ry a little push there. Its as much as a workout for Mom as it is for them.

Our New Additions!

I just thought that I'd show everyone the new additions to the Quinton house. There is one that I am very excited to share with you and one the Mike is thrilled to share. I don't mind showing off Mikes prized Antelope because I know that when the fifth member of our family arrives this summer Mr. Antelope will be galloping off to live in our new basement. Yeah for that! And I think that he will even take the rest of his friends with him to be basement dwellers.

We went to Grandma's with the curly hair and Papa Randy's house last weekend to play. Papa had just bought a couple of new calves so we went out to help feed the new calves. The kids had so much fun. Brynlee even did a little steer riding. The calf in the picture is reddish brown in color so we named her Ginger. She ended up liking the taste of Riley's hand as much as her bottle and sucked and sucked on his little hand. At first Riley was a little nervous but then he realized that it didn't hurt and he started laughing so hard you couldn't see his little eyes anymore. It takes me back to the days of Mocca. Oh little Mocca - Fuzz-ee.
